Here’s what’s happening:
The seriousness of NJ Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Laws and the ubiquitous of social media throughout every aspect of our students lives have collided to create an environment where the need for teaching Digital Citizenship and Empathy has never been greater. Our October monthly member meeting will be held on Friday, Oct. 18th at Montclair State University – University Hall 1030 from 9:00 am – 11:45 am. The topic of this meeting will be Digital Citizenship in the Age of Social Media.
****Our policy regarding inclement weather is that if Montclair State University is closed, there will be no meeting. For MSU to be closed, the governor would declare all public offices closed. Netriculation of Your Device: Those with laptops/tablets need to connect to the MSU network. Come early. Also, some people should bring a power strip to share the few outlets. You must have up to date virus protection on your laptop to log in. Park at the Red Hawk Parking Deck, 5th floor and walk out the 5th floor walkway onto the campus to University Hall/Student Center.
